Eng Rithchandaneth (born in 1993, Phnom Penh) lives and works in Phnom Penh. She attended art classes at Sa Sa Art Projects while also holding a bachelor’s degree in Design from SETEC Institute. She often works with sculpture and installation, regularly employing natural and recycled materials. Her work focuses on urbanization and development issues in the Cambodian context, questioning power structures and their relationship with the environment and nationhood.

Her selected exhibitions include: Colony, Sa Sa Art Projects, Phnom Penh; The Cities, Treeline, Siem Reap (2020); Currents: Phnom Penh Art & Urban Festival (2019), Phnom Penh; Forced Marriage under the Khmer Rouge (2018), Bophana Center, Phnom Penh; Kraanh Norneal, Sensing the Capital Project (2017), Sa Sa Art Projects; Poetic Topographies (2016), SA SA BASSAC; and Futurographies: Cambodia-USA-France, New York, Phnom Penh and Paris (2015-2016).

Daneth participated in colLABoration  workshop with the students of Multidisciplinary Art (MDA) of Faculty of Fine Arts of Chiang Mai University at Sa Sa Art Projects (2020). She was an artist-in-residence of S-AIR, Sapporo, Japan (2016) and Vermont Studio Center, the United States (2015).
